This National #VolunteersWeek, we’re hearing from some of our incredible volunteers about their time with us here at BSAVA. Here’s what the lovely Julian had to say 👇 „I have been a member of the regional (southern) BSAVA committee for 26 years. Originally, I started as a way of getting to know the vets in my area and I rapidly built up a network of colleagues I could contact for help and advice. As time went on, I was gently persuaded into taking on more volunteer roles, in Scientific, PetSavers and Publications and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It would be impossible to quantify how much I have learnt as a result of my volunteering: similarly, it would not be possible to estimate how much support and friendship I have gained from being a part of the BSAVA family. Through my various job progressions and changes, my career development and life generally, BSAVA has probably been the most constant part of my life over the past 26 years. Onwards to the next quarter of a century!”
