The housing measures in Great Britain are still due to be lifted at 23:59 on 31 March 2021. But the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone remains in place. Heightened biosecurity is absolutely vital as the risk ofavian influenza has not gone away as demonstrated by the recent new cases.
Due to the remaining wild bird and environmental risks, when birds are released it will be mandatory for them to be in a penned area and ponds and watercourses must be fenced off.
